Description:During the journey of Lord Shiva with his wife sati, left palm of Devi sati has fallen down at Shakti peeth Yashor. The place was not so popular but after the establishment of temple in the particular place, Jessore or Yashohar has become really popular. The idol of Devi sati at this particular place is known as Yashoreswari or Jashoreswari and Lord Shiva is known as chand.



Special information about this Place: There is varying explanation of the term chand. Some people call it as moon where as another group of people denotes the term as the person who holds moon in his hand.
